A few weeks ago I got to shoot with my new buddy Michael from the blog On Abbot Kinney while he was in town taking photos for The Cooper Design Space's January Market.  It was fun to hang downtown and I also got to cruise around The Cooper Building and check out some of the designers! I especially loved what Milly has got coming up! So you all know I am obsessed with leopard and now I am roaming into tiger territory. Loving my new sweater! Was a bit chilly so I paired it with my army green skinnies and favorite pea coat. These DV booties have also been in heavy rotation as of late. Thanks again Michael for these snaps!

Happy Saturday! How was your week?! I am so happy the weekend is here! I thought it would be fun to mix the sweetness of this floral babydoll dress with these spicy OTK suede boots. Am I really using spicy as an adjective? Someone is watching a little too much "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" -  Subtle details like the mix and match of the plaid headband with the floral print are a great way to make your personality come through. Hello there! Sorry it's been a few days! How was your holiday weekend? The last few days in Los Angeles have felt like summer! Time to dig out the dresses and shorts. I am starting to think this plum / wine color is my new favorite! I seem to be wearing it so much lately! I also love the tone on tone of my dress and bag. Tone on tone is one of my favorite trends for Spring and you all know how much I love color! This necklace is by Summer Bucket Jewelry- she has such cute things and this gold dipped feather was the perfect accessory to complete this look. Wild week ahead! Godspeed.

Quick stop. By now everyone must know my love of polka dots (as seen here and here and... here) This blouse reminds me of "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead" for some reason! Maybe it's just reaalllyyy early. I had to cuff these plum leather's out of necessity, but I don't mind it. Would have preferred them hemmed but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do ya know? These next few weeks are a bit crazy for me- my tee shirt line is finally launching at the end of this month! Wild. Can't believe it. Some really fun things coming up on the blog too! One that I definitely do not follow is this drab color palette some people seem to get into during these colder months. I feel like cold weather is an even better reason to brighten up your wardrobe! Doesn't this flowy scarf shirt give you that "Almost Famous" 60s vibe? I will also be wearing this with flares and clogs at some point. That's one of the cool things about fashion isn't it? You can travel back in time if you feel like it. I wonder what the next generation will think about the groovy stuff we are wearing now. I always think about certain pieces I will never throw out or give away but save for my future kids someday. Pretty awesome to think they will get their own time machine. Have a favorite item you will keep forever? I wanna hear!

The time has come. My favorite printed skinnies are back.  (You may remember them from this post a while back) I might be jumping the gun just a little with the Spring colors since it's not technically Spring yet but I don't mind being the brightest kid on the block. I love the texture detail in this sweater against the fun ikat print in the jeans. As we say in the styling world- it pops.
