Happy Monday! I am so excited to show off this collaboration with the lovely Lulu's.com! The fine folks over at Lulu's and I wanted to do a kind of a vintage inspired look; the varsity jacket, the polka dots, the loafers, the headband... you get the drift! I love how it all turned out! To me putting an outfit together is all about the mix. Subtle details and an underlying "theme" often define and complete a look for me. 

I am wearing: 

Obey Varsity Lover Red Hooded Jacket: This jacket is so beyond comfy! I have always had an affinity for varsity jackets and I am so happy they are back in! Such a young, fresh, classic feel. I also love the attached hoodie for a layered look. Also nice- its vegan! 

Dot Tamale Polka Dot Skinny Jeans: Polka dots are one of my favorite prints. Polka dots always seem to add a bit of quirkiness and charm to any outfit. If you've been following the blog you know that I have a serious thing for printed jeans (flashback: here, here and... here haha) Well I am still feelin' em' and if you haven't dived into this fun trend yet, get in there!! 

Chelsea Crew Luba Tan Smoking Loafer Heels: How cute are these?! Tassels are a new obsession of mine and I think this detail really makes these shoes special. I could see wearing these on so many different occasions, whether it be casual every day, brunch, to the office or a school interview. These also come in Navy!

Orange Crush.

Nothing says summer like a melting ice cream cone. Isn't it just the best?! Growing up in Southern California my summers consisted of long days at the beach- sandy and surfed out, skateboarding barefoot and romping around with a group of crazy kids with long blonde hair and sunburned noses. The other day felt like a time warp. It was some much needed pure fun.

You might recognize this coral bikini from my "Summer Essentials" post. Don't leave home without it! This sweater is perfection for summer afternoons by the water and layering for fall- but good luck finding it as it's a few years old. Don't fret! FP has similar ones here and take my word- good investment.
