Black and white will always be in. If you want to look chic, black and white- it's the way to go. I've pulled off my fair share of prints. Snow Leopard- done. But I have not yet ventured into Zebra or Cow print territory. I'm on the fence. No pun intended. Does that even make sense? Cow? Fence? Farm? Anyway! Tell me, what do you think about this trend?

Criss cross applesauce.. this was a fun experiment. Always down for black and white I had fun playing with the mix of pattern on the blouse and splatter on the jeans. Black and white is isn't sophistication, but hey a little bit Rock N' Roll never hurts. I didn't cut my hair but this wind is adding some choppy Joan Jett layers isn't it? How you do black and white?

What's black and white and red all over? A newspaper. And me. Cheesy, cheesy, cheesy. Black and white with a pop of color- always a favorite look for me. I feel this black and white trend is included in trend lists every single season! It's timeless. And.... More leather. Leather shorts, leather skirts, leather pants, leather jackets (all faux of course) Leather is just effortlessly edgy and cool, no? Tell me- what are your favorite leather pieces? I wanna hear! I always wonder who is stopping by and I love hearing from you guys and talking fashion so say hey!

I always love black and white with a pop of color (see here and here) and in this case that pop is gold. Sorry to rub it in if your not in Los Angeles and can no longer wear a skirt, but if it makes you feel any better you might be able to see my goosebumps! Although I am one of those that always runs cold!! In case your wondering I am eating a Nutella Crepe (YUM! Eek probably shoulda got a food photo haha) That's another thing I always am- hungry! So in this case we shot while I ate (Thanks to my photographer for sparing me the shots where I am in the actual process of eating- never cute) If you recognize these Sam Edelman "Zoe" boots from a few years back, it's true. But I still love them! Especially how much taller they make me in a skirt!

Black & White.

                          

Cruised Melrose today with my adorable cousin who is visiting from London. I have always been into black and white- especially with a pop of color. Especially this color which everyone seems to still be obsessed with. I can't manage to get these sandals off my feet! Summer essential fo' sho'. Blouse is polka dot with cute frill detail over the shoulders. It was a frantic purchase in an extremely busy Topshop- Oxford Street, one year at Christmas time. Its one of those things that gets lost in the shuffle and every time I stumble across it I remember how much I like it and ask myself "why don't I ever wear this?!"
