Happy Saturday! How was your week?! I am so happy the weekend is here! I thought it would be fun to mix the sweetness of this floral babydoll dress with these spicy OTK suede boots. Am I really using spicy as an adjective? Someone is watching a little too much "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" -  Subtle details like the mix and match of the plaid headband with the floral print are a great way to make your personality come through. What's black and white and red all over? A newspaper. And me. Cheesy, cheesy, cheesy. Black and white with a pop of color- always a favorite look for me. I feel this black and white trend is included in trend lists every single season! It's timeless. And.... More leather. A Little Sparkle.

So! Thought it might be fun to do something a little festive. Not gonna lie this may or may not be a sweater but I'm 5'1 (and a half!) so even though it's a little on the short side I feel like with tights it could work! Plus it's super comfy!! The pink collar adds some charm to it. Its always good to make sure your personality comes through in an outfit. Pink collar- so me.

Welcome to the Jungle.

Pinky's up! Never noticed I did that when I was on the phone. Pretty funny. Anyway.... when I was styling we had a client who was all about the velvet- this was a few years ago and we were hard pressed to find this girl some velvet!! Well, she was ahead of her time- velvet has officially made it's come back and these lush, wine colored skinnies fit the bill. As you've probably come to know my love for leopard is undying and this comfy cardi is purrrrfect. Alright I need to settle down with the rhymes here. Exciting news! Going into production for my line (Mint) this week! So I've been a bit crazed! But so so excited! Stay tuned friends.

I was gonna title this post "Banana" as in "Orange you glad I didn't say banana?" but I thought it would be too cheesy. And yet, I told you guys anyway, so there ya go. For some reason I've always steered  clear of orange. But it's one of my favorite colors this season! I love red and gold at Christmas time just as much as the next girl, but there's something unpredictable and refreshing about orange. In doing this blog I hope to inspire you guys to venture out and try new things and if there is one color I would recommend experimenting with this winter- its orange.
So... orange you glad I didn't banana?

Nothing better then a perfectly worn in pair a' Chucks! Except maybe a perfectly ripped pair of jeans. Who says you can't wear white after labor day?! I personally believe in wearing white all year round. Why not?! Do it... do it.. This boyfriend blazer is made by Silence & Noise and I also have it black. And I am also debating white. I loove them! They fit just right and once you find that just right blazer you better stock up before it's gone. Seize the moment! Also it's currently on sale!! Sorry if this post sounds a little loopy it's been a long week!!

Prance.

I was gonna try to down play it but I can't! I'm pretty excited that my tee shirt line Mint is making it's first appearance on the blog! Along with graphic tees I also have a range of "Mint Essentials"- gotta love a good basic! This tee and the rest of my Mint line will be available to purchase in January! P.S. It's super soft and comfy! Alright, alright, alright...now that I've got that excitement out of the way! These "Prance" Booties by Jeffrey Campbell were my staple all summer and I'm finding ways to mix em' into Fall, because well... I love them. As you may or may not know I have an obsession with army jackets- if you don't have one yet (which I'm sure you probably do) but if you don't- get on it. Such a go to.
