This was such a beautiful day. I thank my lucky stars that I was born and raised in California. It's such a massive part of who I am, my family and our history. These photos were taken at the newly re-opened Echo Park Lake. My Grandparents had a house close to there in the 40's!! My Nike Wedge Dunks are still my faves, paired with a cozy sweater and shorts, this outfit was perfect for strolling and hanging at the lake! If you live in LA or are visiting it's definitely an awesome place to spend the day!! 

Speaking of a great way to spend the day- Mint will be at UNIQUE LA this weekend! Sharing booth #112 with our friends Kovey! I would absolutely love to see you there! If you haven't been to a Unique LA event before they are so fun! All made in the USA brands: clothing, jewelry, art and FOOD!

Gettin' Festive.

Almost time for Coachella! I found myself getting in the festival groove with this ensemble. I usually am not one for black and brown (or black and blue) for some reason I have these weird "fashion rules" in my head but this to me worked! Maybe it's time to break the rules baby! This black baby doll from Elkin is the perfect easy breezy throw on and has super cute tie details on the sides. A good felt hat is a must, this hat is no longer available but here are some good options: here and here. I love the copper bag for an element of surprise. And it's the perfect size as well! Such a fan of Lancaster!
