A little orange, a little red... Poppy is one of the trendy colors for Spring and I'm quickly becoming obsessed. Bags, nails, shoes, dresses... you are sure to see this color POP up just about everywhere - pun intended. And cheesy. Sorry! I had to!! And I made it so obvious haha. Fresh, fun- I'm now on the prowl for something in this sassy shade! What do you think? Anything Poppy colored in your wardrobe yet??

April showers bring May flowers, and... floral prints! Nice segue? I just realized I was in fact watching Brady Brunch re-runs last week so maybe I got a little inspired. I thought I would counter the bold print with a simple white lace top. Maybe I'm longing for those easy breezy summer days but I am all about the comfort lately, and these pants are sooo, so, so comfy!
 I just love em!

Lovers + Friends x Because I'm Addicted.

Last night I attended the "Lovers + Friends" x "Because I'm Addicted" event to celebrate the launch of their Spring 2013 collaboration. Flirty skirts, stylish staples and fresh spring stripes peppered the collection. Here are a few of my favorite pieces below and how I would.. I mean will style them once they are mine! Muhahahaha.

The "Downtown" dress couldn't be more suitable for Spring. I love the subtle detail slit at the waist. I would pair this with some bright coral heels to show off that tan (you will soon acquire) and also bring out the beautiful colors in the print. 

      

I love the drop waist and soft pleats on the "Sophistication" dress. I think adding a modern heel to this classic silhouette creates a cool juxtaposition. Add a gold clutch and your good to go. 

White faux leather peplum- I am IN. I would pair the "Je Ne Sais Quoi" top with some royal blue cigarette trousers and a statement necklace like this gold peter pan shape.

Took these very quickly on my way out to Vegas!! See how I look sooo busy on my phone? Haha. I was trying to navigate directions! I've been living in this brown leather jacket from Zara, I got it about a year ago but for some reason it's back in heavy rotation! This skirt is also from last summer, making a come back!! I love how a white tee can turn any outfit instantly casual if needed. The most essential, essential you can own! Hope you are all having a great week!

Loved this light and easy breezy look yesterday. Hello there! Sorry it's been a few days! How was your holiday weekend? The last few days in Los Angeles have felt like summer! Time to dig out the dresses and shorts. I am starting to think this plum / wine color is my new favorite! I seem to be wearing it so much lately! I also love the tone on tone of my dress and bag. Tone on tone is one of my favorite trends for Spring and you all know how much I love color! This necklace is by Summer Bucket Jewelry- she has such cute things and this gold dipped feather was the perfect accessory to complete this look. Wild week ahead! Godspeed.

Flower Power.

I think it's safe to say I'm ready for Spring! Even though I think it may technically still be winter? Haha. Did a little mixy matchy with the flowers on my top and subtle railroad stripe in the jeans. Lately I've been all about the comfort and this wedge sneaker with skinnies deal has pretty much been my daily uniform. Speaking of wedge sneakers, these Nike's have been on my wishlist for quite some time and I am so happy they are now in my possession! I have a shoe wall in my closet; basically rows of shelves with shoes on them. It's funny the way I organize it because the top shelf is similar to a bar- the fanciest (and current faves get to go on top) These will be up there for a while.
