Here are just a few shots we took as we were cruising around Sunset Junction the other day. I met the cutest puppy ever! His name was "Magnet"- the dude walking him was pretty clever with that one!! Worked with me! I am wearing my favorite white ripped skinnies paired with a camo tank and red high top converse. Every time I wear these white jeans, people tell me how much they would like to wear white jeans! Well! Why don't you?! Trust me on this one. Worried about spilling? I am prone to spilling, tripping, picking up random puppies with dirty paws and yet the jeans remain unscathed. It's not as hard to keep them white as you'd think. Pairing them with the red really pops and makes a fun tom boyish statement.

I love a white tee and jeans. On guys (James Dean! HELLO!) and on girls! There is something so chic and sexy about the look. It's cool and confident without looking like you tried too hard. The most important element to the white tee + jeans combo is the accessories. This is where you pepper in your signature steeze. Sassy red bag, bright white wedge dunks and a vintage style panama hat definitely add some personality. How do you do a plain white tee and jeans?

One of the fun things about being a designer is wearing your own pieces. I mean, let's be honest the reason I became a designer was because  I needed more clothes! Just kidding... kind of. Yesterday I wore the Mint "Do The Twist" dress in Seafoam. This dress is tee shirt material, which makes it pretty hard to take off. I layer it with sweaters over, or even skirts on top and turn it in to a tank! It was fun to pair it with these Sam Edelman booties- the aztec detail on the heel doesn't quite "match" but it works it that weird "fashioney" way. You know? Finding colors that go don't normally go together but they really do go together, like light blue and rust... I live for this stuff.

Yes. I confess. This is me. I use a variety of products every single day. Maybe I am a little high maintenance when it comes to my products, but hey I like to take care of my skin and hair- and being out in the sun and salt constantly, definitely takes it's toll. Mint Turns One.

 Hello! So I celebrated my birthday yesterday, but even more exciting then that is that it's also Mint's birthday!! It has been almost exactly one year since I started this blog and my clothing line. Nuts!! I can not thank you all enough for your support! It means the world to me! I have learned so much and met so many new friends and mentors that have helped me along the way. Also to everyone who has been a fan of the brand and spreading the word- can't do it without you!!
